Data Mining and Computer Modeling Center

The Center for Data Mining and Computer Modeling DMCM is concerned with promoting the utilization of such methodologies and helping the industrial and academic institutions in Egypt to maximize their analytical, experimental and developmental powers by developing R&D processes based on the integration of Computer System Modeling and Data Mining. The center is a consortium planned and created based on public-private, academic-industrial, and national-international partnerships. The consortium currently has the lead investigators and researchers from Cairo University, IBM Egypt, American University in Cairo, Alexandria UniversityRDI Egypt.

The Center for Data Mining and Computer Modeling is funded by the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) through the Centers of Excellence Program.

The Faculty of Computers and Information, Cairo University (FCI-CU) is the lead institution of the consortium, hosting the combined meetings and shared facilities of the center.
